We explored the costume box, inspired by yesterday's prop-sorting...
... we continued to experiment with the new-to-us art...
(Finn's one was started but dropped soon after, and Orry has started and abandoned three or so now, dissatisfied with how he's doing on them, meaning that my cat is the only one to be completed yet - I'm rather proud of it!)
... making a new rainbow to send to grandma (with Finn helping to sew it this time...
... fooling about...
... playing music...
... and doing puzzles:
As we said a few posts back, Oshin is a big fan of puzzles, but this one here is his level at the moment. He's up to picking the right vehicles, turning them and fitting them in. Nothing to technical yet!
A nice little thing we did today, working off their map-reading work of a few days ago, was inspired by a little grid which Orry made, with 1 to 5 along the side, and A to D along the bottom, with a thing in to locate. So I have this, and they had good fun decoding the sentences, and laughing at others when they did it!
But the main achievement of the day was giving everyone a much-needed haircut:
After this, and lunch, the non-napping boys got a bath, with their snorkles!
We ate a little earlier than usual today (Spaghetti Bolognese, if you're interested), so that we'd be ready for the American family online quiz, which was great fun, with people drawing things on the screen which everyone had to guess etc. They all has great fun, and it was lovely to connect with everyone so far away.
Then bed an a heavier tidy-up than usual for the grown-ups!
